"I am not duty-bound to resolve the difficulties I create. May my ideas always be somewhat disjunct, or even appear to contradict one another, if only they are ideas in which readers will find material that stirs them to think for themselves".

Beyond The Pit of Tartarus

What you have lost you can never get back. I try to forget those empty nights drowning all the loss and all the pain, but they remain, like the bitter taste of the bite you wanted to avoid. These painful nights are endless and then sleeps takes over in this empty bed, the morning comes and the light fools me. I forget he is missing, I forget she is gone, I forget she is in pain. I enter the world anew, a fool. The pettiness of the mundane gives me peace until the darkness comes and I remember again, I remember all that is gone, all that I've lost and I can never get back.
